Armor plate Velmet-ARM-600T LX 3D is a rigid armor plate made of steel, bent in two planes. This configuration of the metal armor plate is a novelty of the Ukrainian market for individual body armor. This armor piece is designed for use in Low Profile systems.

This plate has a 4 protection class according to NIJ. But the company's technologists do not recommend using it without an additional damper, which should damp down an outrageous impact.

Externally, the plate has an anti-ricochet polyurethane coating, which, due to its viscous structure, is able to hold back the debris of a defragmented bullet. But at the same time, this plate is not an independent armor element.

The Velmet-ARM-600T LX 3D armor plate is designed as an integral part of the body armor and is recommended for use with additional dampers and soft ballistic protection packages, that is, it is an ICW-type armor element. This is a conscious decision of the designers of the VELMET company, which allows to reduce the weight and volume of the armored element.

At the same time, if necessary, on the VELMET website it is possible to order additional chest pads in order to use the Velmet-ARM-600T LX 3D armor plate as an independent armor element.

The company has experience in the manufacture of metal armor plates since 2014. However, in 2021, Velmet introduced a new line of cases for minimum profile armor plates. This technology has shown certain design flaws of classic, bent in one plane, armor plates.

Therefore, from now on, VELMET produces metal armor plates bent in two planes of an anatomical shape. The reliability and strength of the metal remained. Added comfort and increased convenience.
