Neck Protection Module Perun 7.8 LC G2 (M) Mawka
Anti-fragmentation neck protection module for PERUN 7/8 LC G2 with support for the quick release function of the body armor. The neck protector with ballistic packs is released using the fastening system without the need for additional movements, which improves ease of use and practicality. This technical solution was developed by Velmet based on the experience of combat use of ballistic protective neck elements of the previous generation. When designing the PERUN 7/8 LC G2 neck protection, the anthropometric parameters of military personnel and the characteristics of the elements of destruction on the battlefield were taken into account. The neck protection module with ballistic packages at the attachment point of the front part does not have a butt joint, and is also placed under a rigid armored element (armor plate), which in turn maximally protects the jugular cavity area. Soft ballistic neck protection packages have a protection level according to DSTU 8782:2018 - V100 - 500 m/s, which is the optimal solution for ensuring maximum comfort and maintaining the level of protection.
