Shoulder protection 6LC MaWka®

Company LLC Velmet produces a ballistic shoulder protection module called 6LC MaWka®, which is an additional element to the Perun 6LC (6LC SOF) body armor. This protection is made of a ballistic material based on high molecular weight polyethylene (HMWPE), which has low elasticity and provides high protective efficiency, low barrier deformation and ease of use.

The shoulder module of the body armor helps protect the shoulders from damage that may occur during combat. It provides reliable protection against bullets, fragments of mines, shrapnel and other ballistic threats. The shoulder protection can be easily attached to the 6LC series body armor and quickly detached if necessary.

This ballistic shoulder protection corresponds to the level of protection against bullets and fragments in accordance with CO DSTU 8782:2018 - V100 - 550 m/s, fragment 1.1 g. The use of advanced technology for sealing soft ballistic packages allows to achieve this level of protection even in harsh climatic conditions
