Armor plate Velmet LX3 3D 241x318 SAPI M
The Velmet-Armor LX3 3D M, a Class 4 armored plate, is a new addition to Velmet's individual armor protection range. This rigid armor element is made from armored steel and is bent in two planes using a patented technology that does not compromise its ballistic properties. The armored steel used in production is Class 4 in terms of DSTU 8782 protection, minimal deformation level caused by the additional stiffness rib's upper bend, and the application of a damper completely eliminates the transfer of bullet impact energy to the wearer. LX 3D series armored plates are equipped with anti-ricochet coating, which provides protection against bullet fragments and an additional ricochet protection system at the top of the armored element for neck protection.

Considering the operational and constructive disadvantages of armored elements with a bend in one plane - Single Curve type, which are mass-produced in Ukraine, we decided to create a more modern armored plate and introduce the technology of manufacturing steel armored plates of an anatomical shape, bent in two planes, while maintaining reliability and strength, and providing comfort and convenience. Only steel with excellent ballistic characteristics that pass the DSTU and TK manufacturer's check is used to manufacture metallic armored plates. Each batch is tested in accredited laboratories, and upon request, we provide copies of certificates or firing protocols for batches.
